Academic Program
Liberty School of Education provides a scholastic program according to the following levels:
- Initial Education
- Kinder 2
- Kinder 3
- Kinder 4
- Kinder 5
- Basic School Education or Middle School
- 1st cycle: Grades 1, 2, 3
- 2nd cycle: Grades 4, 5, 6
- 3rd cycle: Grades 7, 8, 9
- High School (three years)
Liberty´s academic programs follow the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC). Seniors, on graduation, receive the degree of Scientific Baccalaureate with emphasis on Arts and Letters.
This school does not offer AP® courses nor Honors classes.
The school also has its own Liberty program covering:

Students and faculty
In 2024, Liberty School of Education enrolled more than 500 students. The average class size in academic courses is 22.
Faculty are required to have the documentation required at national level by MEC.
Academic calendar
The school calendar is divided into two semesters. The first semester commences in mid-February and finishes in early July. The second semester commences in early August and concludes in early December.
Graduation requirements
Students must pass all the subjects required of the academic program. Students also must develop, present and defend a research project with a focus on Human Rights by their senior year.
Accreditations and memberships
With more than 30 years of experience and as pioneers in education through art and inclusion, our community is composed by people and international alliances seeking the same fundamental principles as Liberty´s: Kiva antibullying program, MUN (Model United Nation), Operation Smile, Cambridge English qualifications, Espacios de Ser (Robotics), National Mathematics Competitions such as KANGURO and OMAPA.
Education designed for the individual, bilingual education, education through art, inclusion, self-discipline, education in values, family activities.
Extracurricular opportunities
Liberty School offers its students the opportunity to participate in theatre productions, musical bands, chorus, sports, camps, educational and cultural visits and trips.
Sports
Varsity sports are offered both male and female team in basket, soccer and handball. The school also offers extracurricular sports such as basket, soccer, handball and taekwondo.
Alumni university enrollment
Almost all of Liberty graduates continue on to University studies, mainly in Paraguay and the United States.
